Well I started on working something "big" and seeing as how i haven't posted anything here yet, I thought I'd share it with everyone.
This is basically a file that will hopefully contain all of the music in the Mother (Earthbound Zero) game. It started as a project my friend asked me to do and we have been attempting this for nearly half a year now.

As a matter of fact, I have done more work on it. I've got about 11 songs done now. Getting into a few of the more difficult songs, so progress is slowing down just a bit.

hahaha.... GOD I thought everyone had forgot about that. It's almost been a year. AND it's a 2 day difference here. Alot of posting happened in those 2 days. A 2 DAY BUMP! WHOOP-DEE-DING!

I really hate to post in this after the long silence, but I was unable to log on for near 2 weeks so this is the best I could do.
First of all, I tried to speed Pollyanna up to speed 3 and I didn't like it all that much. Secondly, I do like the way you made the hippie theme sound with the vrc7. I would fix the note slides in pattern 03 to be faster, so they actually slide to the note. Other than that it sounds great!

Well, I love the Mother series, so I couldn't just stay silent, heheh.
I see why tdude10 used Q0x instead of Q1x, but yeah, the notes don't make it to the actual target pitch. The solution is to use Q1x and just start the commands a row later. I attached an edit.
I'm not a big fan of the chord voicing in frames 05-07...the bass line gets obscured in such a way that it loses the good groove you had going...I didn't bother to fix it...
Other than that though, this is a fantastic rendition of the tune!

This is great stuff guys. I might have to do a VRC7 mix of another theme from this game. Anyways I've found that if you use Q22 in Pattern 03 and Q11 in pattern 04 it's as close as you will get to the actual thing (the notes have this high-speed mini-vibrato in the actual tune that took forever to figure out, and I'm sure you can't get that on the VRC7 channels).
If I can make a suggestion, I think you could do a VRC7 of the introduction, or maybe the poltergeist battle theme. They would probably sound good like that.
