square 1 vrc6 desperately needs some support. should probably get rid of the thing you've got going on in square 2 and give some echo support. opening that square would also help 2a03 square 1 when it's by itself by alternating the notes in each channel. otherwise the thing seems pretty empty.

the bass is good, though. the whole thing gets a little repetitive but it's not bad.

Also the E in square 1 2a03 initially sounds incredibly deceptive, like you're going into major. consider editing that.

Not sure exactly what you mean by this bit, but I've fixed up the rest.

EDIT: At one particular point in the VRC6 Sq1, there's a V04. It should be a V05.

I learned that the hard way; the Zxx effect only serves to control the intensity of the DPCM channel (which is where it should be used). But, while it's used in the DPCM channel, it will have an effect on both the triangle & noise channels (a minor thing unless you're striving for a more powerful triangle channel).

I know I may have explained this in the crappiest possible way; you can explain it better than me, nicetas_c.

Song #2 is a generic pre-boss tension short loop thing (a bit like before you face a boss in X1 (at least), and even more so when you face a boss in Powered Up)

Song #3 is a generic boss theme. It's a retrack of a really old song I did.

Song #4 is differing from the norm. Need major epic C+C on this one, cause I'm not quite sure about it.

^ They do sound similar, but not too similar.

Even more stuff.

#5 is a little too generic, and sounds too similar to song #1, so I gave up half way through. The only bit I really like in that song is the obligatory 50% duty cycle echo section - may reuse that somewhere else.

#6 is the star of the show. Not sure what to do with this one; should I lengthen it out or keep it as a short, menu screen-ish type piece?

You see, Immediately I thought "This belongs in SSBB as a boss theme" when I played the first song. Tht's how highly I thought of it. And then, When I played the boss theme I immediately thought of a pokemon battle against a champion or something, although a bit shorter. I also added a little improv on the 2ao3 square channels on the last song, If anyone cares to listen.

That's not a bad addition, although it's perhaps a little loud for my liking. The second part of the third frame sounds a bit off though. I'll think about working something similar into it.

#7 is tense. I do believe the 2A03 Sq1's arp is a bit off - I have no idea how 0xx works, so :P (psst someone tell me hoowww)

#8 is more tension. I like how the bass came out on this one.

#9 is INCREDIBLE. Honest. Super duper impressed with self here, but I think I got a bit lazy near the end. Some parts inspired by some Pokemon Champion theme (possibly Silver's)

#10 is a WIP. Contains sound effects of a Yoku Block, generic 1UP-ish collection tune and an explosion, in that order.

the numbers after 0 in 0xx are that many half-steps higher than the note you have up. so if you have G-3 047 4 would stand for B-3 and 7 would stand for D-4.
