I'm trying to make my most complex composition yet, but when I add stuff to my second frame that's not there in the first, it adds it in the same place on the first frame. Then, I delete it from the first frame and it disappears from the second. How to prevent this?

use a different pattern number the second time around instead of reusing the same pattern.

In the top left side of the window, you should see a row of 00s in a black box. Sort of like this:

00 00 00 00 00

When you click on one of the 00s, you'll end up on that particular pattern's sound channel. They represent the pattern number according to the sound channel.

If you double-click on the sound channel you want a different pattern for, you can type the number 01 & change to the new pattern.
